And I don’t just mean bubble baths (although those absolutely count). I mean the thing that helps you reset when your brain feels overloaded, your emotions feel heavy, or life just feels like… a lot.
For some people it’s journaling. For others it’s going for a walk, blasting music in the car, cooking a comforting meal, turning off notifications for an hour, or finally saying “no” without guilt. Self-care doesn’t have to be expensive, aesthetic, or Instagram-worthy. Sometimes it’s as simple as drinking water, going to bed earlier, or taking five quiet minutes to breathe.
The important thing? It’s intentional. It’s choosing to care for yourself instead of running on empty.
